Brothers’ Keeper Carpentry has been building and restoring parts of Jacksonville and surrounding areas of Florida since 2020. The company was founded in order to establish a new standard of employment through employer benefits, job security, and overall treatment of the carpenters. Starting as a single carpenter, now a developed crew with diverse sets of construction skills, BKC is still aiming to become a name contractors are pleased to hear.

Meet Spencer Rooney, Owner and Carpenter:
Graduated from Paris Island, NC in 2011 to become the first Marine in his family. When Spencer’s USMC career came to an early end, he went to FSCJ and UNF to receive his bachelors degree in multimedia journalism with a minor in photography. After failing to find a lucrative position in Jacksonville he relocated to St Petersburg, FL in 2018 where he found his love for carpentry. After a few years in the field he quickly realized the nature of the carpenters life is rough with little to no support from employers. That’s when he decided to take this problem into his own hands and move back to Jacksonville to start his own company: Brothers Keeper Carpentry.
